We encourage you to take a moment to read Clement and Claude Ltd’s (“we”, “our”, “us”) privacy policy which explains what we do with your personal information when you interact with our website. Personal Information is information which can be used to identify you, for example, your name, address or email address.

Placing and receiving an order

When you buy something from our website, we collect your name, the recipient name (if different), your billing and shipping address and contact number. We use your personal information to fulfil your order and to send you an email confirmation that your order has been placed and dispatched. If you are unable to provide any of this information, we will not be able to complete the order.

When you visit our website we place necessary and functional cookies on your device (laptop, mobile phone, tablet). Without these cookies we cannot surface our website to you, ensure it loads quickly and remembers what you have placed in your basket until you are ready to make a purchase. Your shopping basket

When you have placed items in your basket but not completed your order, we place cookies on your device (see cookies section above) to ensure that if you return to our website within 2 weeks, the items are still in your basket.

Direct marketing

When you buy something from us, you are automatically added to our customer email database to receive emails on product updates and offers. You can choose not to receive these emails either by unchecking the box when you reach the check out page, or using the unsubscribe link on each email you receive. We only use your email to send updates and offers on our own products. We do not share your personal information with other retailers.

Sharing your personal information

So that we can complete your order, we share your personal information with postal delivery companies. We use a third party provider, Squarespace Inc. for our website and in the event that we need development support, some of your personal information may also seen by Squarespace developers. Where we share your personal information with third parties, we ensure that where we are required by law to put in place appropriate technical, organisational and contractual measures to protect your data, such measures are in place before any of your personal information is shared.

How long do we keep your personal information

We keep your personal information so that we can fulfil your order, deal with any queries you may have and keep you updated on new products and offers. We also keep any personal information required to fulfil our financial reporting obligations as required by law. All personal information that does not need to be retained is permanently deleted.

Your rights in relation to your personal information

You have the right to:

  • receive a copy of any of your personal information.

  • request that we correct or complete personal information we have collected.

  • request that we delete or stop using or storing any of your personal information when we no longer need it.

  • object to the processing of your personal information where we are processing it other then to fulfil your order, answer a query or send your product updates.
